Hello, and thanks for visiting our web site.  We hope that the information you find here will help you or someone close to you who might be experiencing one of the many forms of eating disorders such as Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, Compulsive Overeating, Night Eating Syndrome, Laxative Abuse, or are experiencing some other form of Body Image Distortion.

Many people fear seeking treatment for their eating disorder because they equate treatment with getting "fat". We want you to come to believe that recovery is not about getting "fat" but about wellness.... biological, psychological, social, and spiritual wellness. Here at EDTC, we believe in treating the whole person,  to help you discover what wellness looks like, for you.

The most effective and long-lasting treatment for an eating disorder is some form of psychotherapy or counseling, coupled with careful attention to medical and nutritional needs. Ideally, this treatment should be tailored to the individual and will vary according to both the severity of the disorder and the patient's individual problems, needs, and strengths.

Regardless of why you're here, we are glad you are, and welcome the chance to help you.
